Make a stop at Grassmarket, the historic market in Edinburgh's Old Town. It used to be a market for the sale of horse and cattle. From here you can see Edinburgh Castle, a must-see monument on your visit! The castle is built on volcanic rock and is one of Scotland's most visited monuments. From the castle there are incredible views of the whole city.
Hop off at Lawnmarket, in one of the sections of the Royal Mile, Edinburgh's most important street. This area was popular for the linen market. Don’t forget to visit St Giles Cathedral in your visit to this area.
